Across from Millennium Park and situated along Chicago’s Cultural Mile, Acanto Restaurant + Wine Bar is a treasured destination for those who appreciate authentic and approachable Italian food in a conversation-friendly atmosphere. The menu spans both North and South Italy and includes handcrafted pastas, stone oven pizzas, daily salad and entrée specials.
Executive Pastry Chef Kymberli DeLost-Cuschieri’s dessert menu features contemporary twists on Italian classics and artisanal cheeses.
Acanto is well-known for its award-winning wine list including being one of only 300 restaurants in the world to receive three stars from World of Fine Wine magazine and a “Best of Award of Excellence” honor from Wine Spectator. The curated list showcases more than 700 wines from Italy’s 20 regions and includes bottles from upcoming winemakers and rare vintages.
Rounding out the list is a libations menu filled with Italian classics including spritzes and negronis together with craft cocktails, beer, and spirits. The wine and libations list are overseen by beverage director Torrence O’Haire.
