Mandi! We’re so excited to bring you along with us to experience the incredible food and wines of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia! Our culinary team had the magical opporunity to tour the region this past September, experiencing the cuisine from the hills to the coast, from Viennese treats in Trieste (Sachertorte, please), to rustic hunter’s-cuisine in the woods along the Slovenian border (bear salami, anyone?), to the roots of the Kingdom of Venice (supposedly the historical home of both Tiramisú and Prosecco). We return to you, excited and inspired, to share the fascinating stories of “F.V.G.” through the flavors of this season’s Passaporto: Friuli - as the Friulani say: Vive!
